It's a first that Nigerians have succeeded in proving to the world that it is possible to build houses from sustainable materials simply by using mostly plastic bottles. This technology is not only innovative, it is also ecological and economical.
As non-recycled plastic bottles expose us to an unprecedented environmental and ecological sinkhole, the people Nigerian has developed a practical, economical and sustainable solution by recycling them. Because most of this waste (plastics) are often poorly managed in several cities worldwide. So if they don't litter our streets and avenues or fill our gutters, they end up in our rivers, streams, seas and oceans causing untold environmental damage.
Practically, before proceeding with the masonry, the builders fill each bottle just with sand. These materials have proven to be effective in building strong walls. This technology is a real revolution and an ecological and economic approach, very promising. Let other countries follow Nigeria's lead.
Long live Nigeria!
Long live the people of Nigeria!
Long live Africa!
